Justice in the Classroom – is our long-standing educational program in its fourth year of expansion into new parts of Virginia and beyond. We piloted a new lawyer/judge program in 2018-19. In 2020, we are building new AP lesson plans with footage from the forthcoming feature documentary about John Marshall’s lasting influence. We are also exploring an after-school program where students study and argue both sides of Supreme Court cases important to them.
Justice in the Classroom & Determined–The JMC presents eight new lesson plans for middle and high school audiences designed to pair with the Virginia Museum of History and Culture’s 2019 exhibition, Determined: the 400-year Struggle for Black Equality.
